growing citrus in airpots

I am considering moving my citrus collection from terracotta pots into air pots Products Archive - Air-Pot® do's anybody use these pots for growing citrus plants are they better than traditional plastic & terracotta POTS ???

I have used them and still do for some plants, they are very common for citrus , do a search for air root pruning pots and citrus and you will find lots of people using them on citrus forums

They are harder to water, you need to put the pot into the water to soak...but thats what you should do with citrus anyway so doesnt make much difference, they tend to dry out too quickly here with the very high temps so I use standard pots on most now

They give very good root systems citrus seem to like growing in the root pruning pots
