Kiwi Advice

Hiya

I have just been bought a Kiwi plant as a gift.

Im wonder where the best place for it is. I do have an allotment, however this is quite exposed and not really got anything to grow it against. I do however have a south facing garden where I could put it in a large pot and grow it against an archway? Does anyone have any thoughts?

I'm growing mine up a fence and along wires about 6 foot an 7.5 foot high. It was only planted thos year and is currently at the 4 foot mark and growing about an inch a day.

Once it's up to the lower wire I plan on pinching it out and growing 2 cordons along the wire -18 foot per arm
