  • current bush probs

    hi all i have planted some current bushes earlier this year and one of them has a problem ,it got aload of white aphides on the new growth and all the new leaves have all wrinkled up and it has not grown any new shoots on it at all its looking rather sorry for its self and im not sure if i should dig it up and burn it before it infects the others ,anyone had this problem ? any advice welcome and i can get some pics if needed,cheers

    What sort of currant bush? Red/White or black?

      ok i`ll get some taken and post them in the week,ha ha thats a good question i`ve got all 3 but i didnt net them and those lovely pigeons ate them all way before they were ready so not sure ,live and learn eh ,cheers

        Blackcurrant leaves have a distinct smell when you rub them. I can't tell a red from a white by smell though!
