Possible 'Sticky' thread for 'Feeling Fruity' Page ??
In light of suggestions can something be done about the blog issues please. I don't know if anyone else has problems but when I first joined I tried to get a resolve but never did and I gave up asking. It would be a wonderful facility if it could be used properly. Basically being able to catergorise blogs and changing the privacy settings. However, if I do this the blog settings box covers the actual blog settings.
Another is 2015 Calendar, presently 45 pages.
If they are going to be present I think they need to be limited in size, one page of posts no more, which means I suppose a mod removing or adding ones that add to the topic, not a free for all by everyone to put something in.
The 2015 calendar is an invitation for growers to put pictures of progress in their gardens/allotments every month,I like looking at everyone's pictures, have added my own. It's sociable being a free for all & nice there's a sticky so it's easy to find.

Re the stickies, I almost always just look at new posts so don't notice them apart from when I want a specific thread or when the New Posts feature doesn't work - this happened this morning despite there being dozens of new posts since I'd last logged on (it does it occasionally, no idea why). I then have to go through the individual areas and the sheer number of stickie threads that nobody has posted on for months is a bit of a pain, a page of them before you find active posts, wouldn't it be a good idea to remove the stickie when the thread is clearly dead.

We'll look into that Alison- thanks for pointing it out.
We do actually go through them periodically but are having such problems modding that perhaps things haven't been kept as up to date as we would prefer
"Nicos, Queen of Gooooogle" and... GYO's own Miss Marple

I've unstuck Kristen's thread about Seed Sowing since its not being maintained.
Several of the threads have been stuck by Admin to generate responses for the magazine. Its not our place to delete those until they've clearly run their course.

If this happens (yes, it does occasionally) then instead of manually trawling through everything, go to the forum front page, then go to quick links and select 'Today's posts'. Unless you've not visited for more than a day it will show you everything new. I think it gives you the link to this anyway if there are no new posts for you.

Posted on an iPad so apologies for any randomly auto-corrected gobbledegook

I can't see that option, not sure it's available on the iPad. Will check later on the 'puter.
