    Part 1 , just searching some information on plant patents and came across a currant called the chuckle berry . A cross between redcurrant x gooseberry x jostaberry ( blackcurrant x gooseberry) anyone grow it have any reports on it , it's something I'm going to add to my collection of around 70 varieties of currants just wondering how all them flavours marry ,stew

    Part 2 , my father in law has just taken on an allotment as a fruit fiend I went down to lend a hand and also see if there was anything interesting , there is 3 gooseberries bushes the picture I'm adding is of a gooseberry I could do with some help identifying I have around 60 varieties of goosegogs and this dosent match any I have it's pear/ bell shaped the berries are still not ripe now the bush is mainly thornless with sparse thorns on new growth, growth of bush is quite drooping , but the size of the main trunk the bush is very very old
