DIY tree stakes and ties

I've ordered a Summer Sun cherry on Gisela 5 (2 year bush) to be planted this autumn.

I have lots of sturdy metal poles about my allotment. Could I use two of those with 2 tree ties instead of a 'proper' manufactured tree stake?

you can probably use one, if it can go into the ground without moving around.
