It is the right time of year but I can't tell from your photo! Sorry it's really blurred. Sloes have really nasty long thorns, if you taste one your mouth drys up in seconds, they also have a "bloom" on their skins.
Post some better photos
Haha thats the best cam I have. Ill walk back along tomorrow and get pics of the plant. They are green inside with a nut.
Here are the otherr pic i took earlier
The sloes this year are enormous round here.
Your berries look like sloes but I the leaves look a little wide. Sloe leaves are slightly elongated...they remind me of olive leaves. The thorns on some bushes are monsterous things but on others they look almost like fruiting spurs (until one gets you, at which point you will be in no doubt).
I'd photograph mine but they're already steeping in gin
Ive found a blackthorn (sloe) without thorns but it may have been some form of natural hydrid, yours look like sloes but as others have said the leaves dont look right but photos to blurry to tell, could be a bullace
I didnt manage to get out and get a pic today, I fell asleep after a long day of graft, Ill defo be out getting one tomorrow as there is only a few. They are not as clumped together as bullance berries usually are. Some of these are the size of grapes.
If you want to view paradise
Simply look around and view it.
