Go for the largest you can afford Craig. Have just had some 6ft fruit trees delivered in 10 litre pots if that's a guide to go by.

If we are talking growing them to maturity say 8ft high I would reckon 30lts as a minimum, you will also need some way to secure the container or tree to prevent it blowing over.

I always use 50ltr tubs( that's now I have gone all posh after using cut down plastic dustbins for years) so they get their john innes No3, and are too heavy to be blown over in the winter gales, a feed each spring and autumn, then just wait for picking time. the great thing about being in pots is the ability to move them around as required....
Looking at the air pots,the 30l pot says for plant specimens,the 45l pot says for trees up to 4m high. Both pots are the same width but the 45l pot has more height which would mean more root space,I'd go for the 45l air pots to maximise the size of the root system.
