I have some apple trees with some deep red/purple apples with red flesh - please see attached pictures. They are very sour to taste. I have a feeling they are large crab apples but not sure. Does anyone have any idea what type of Apple they are and whether they would be good for cider (maybe as all percentage of the overall juice) please.
