  • Size of pots for dwarf fruit trees advice needed

I've bought 5 patio fruit trees and Internet differs in advice for pot size. Some say go big big, some say just a size up and keep repotting until fully grown. Can anyone help? There about 2ft tall in 6-9" pots at the minute having arrived from Daily Mirror apples, cherry, pear and plum.

I am guessing these ones Miniature Patio Fruit Trees | Mirror Reader Offers | Mirror Reader Offers

I would pot them up one-two sizes at a time. By restricting the roots you are trying to encourage fruiting - in my mind anyway. Just make sure they are fed and watered well when needed.

Hi and welcome to the vine btw

Yes, they are those and thank you so much for the advice. There is such a lot of conflicting stuff online. I have been on before here a year ago. I subscribe to mag and I often read advice when I have time from teaching.
Will be on hols soon so will have more time to look around here.
      Thanks again

I would agree with NG but I wouldn't let the roots get to cramped, on more thing to consider is wind, keep them sheltered whilst they are young, you wouldn't like them to get blown over and damaged.
