Yes, good site Nicos. One of my plans this year is to get at least one plant established of a different variety that is everbearing, for a longer season.

All my existing plants are 'June bearing', which in practice has been a glut around late June until Mid July.

Knowing this...I have decided to create a new strawberry bed.
The old one is 8 years old and is clearly full of runners.
It'll be great to start again with new plants and rescue a few in the old bed.

Just need to make sure they are fox proof!!!!
