Old Leafs

good morning all, this morning i decided to top up containers with some fresh soil & feed. i cleared some old leafs but are theses good to leave as a mulch on my apple trees? or are the best of cleared from the trees.

Hi Steve, if poss collect them up & store in black bags to rot down. The downside is it takes around 2 years to make good leafmold.
