    I have a few apples in containers and I am looking for another one,was thinking about getting a red love. Anyone have one of these apples,

      I've had one for about 4/5 years now and it's very good. I think mine was a Redlove Era which is different to the ones you can get now I think, though I doubt there is a massive difference.

      The fruit is quite sharp, which is what I like and I like the flavour. Blossom is dark pink, and when you cut the wood there is a red ring running through it.

      Having said that they are quite expensive as they are copyrighted so can only be bought from lubera so they can control the price (and rightly so due to the cost of developing new varieties of fruit).
