Looking for another apple tree, I have discovery, scrumptious, Egremont russet and James grieve, I have been looking at fallstaff or katy , which one has the best apples

Depends what you like, what you need, where it'll be planted. -
I have both and although I like them both I do like the Falstaff slightly more as its a bigger fruit and slightly crisper

In my son's garden Katy grows well, and I usually thin it to get bigger apples, because it seems to set so many fruits. Late frosts don't seem to bother it much either.Comment
