New to rhubarb

    each time you pull the stems next year ,give the rhubarb a feed, I clear all the leaves then handsful of pelleted chook manure, or similar goes onto the 13 crowns (I'm not greedy, they were here before us and we gave about 8 crowns away) and autumn feed is some compost from own heap which means stalks can reach 4ft sometimes depending on the summer...I pull my last lot in September, later than "usual", but with a good feed system going they seem to love it there, last month 13 crowns meant around 50/60lbs of stalks so all the neighbours are kept regular too....
