Its got more leaf than mine ng1052!
Remember that different families of apple trees flower at very different times. Thats why they can only be cross pollinated by their own particular group. So while my tree at the allotment has finished blossoming over a week ago, and one in my garden doesn't yet have a bud on it!
The good news is that those that flower later have more bees around to pollinate and are less at risk from blossom killed by frost.

It has leaves so is alive. Looks like it is small - is it the first year? If so then it will likely not produce much blossom. Not actually bad as it would need to build up it's reserves, and roots somewhat and the leaves will be doing that by producing food.

IIRC you are up in Scotland, NG, so I'd say for up there, your little apple is showing plenty of life. You can't hope for it to be as far forward as at Muddled's allotment. She's in London.Location - Leicestershire - Chisit-land
Endless wonder.
