My hubby is going to rotavate a patch of ground for me so that I can have a dedicated fruit bed area. My currant (get it? LOL) veggie garden cannot cope with the blackcurrants, gooseberries and raspberries - just think of the extra veggies that I could grow instead
Bless my hubby
When the area has been rotavated, I shall lightly fork in a load of well rotted horse manure and compost, cover it with a tarp and leave it until the autumn when I shall then move my fruit bushes/canes. The new area is near a water-butt to which I can attach some irrigation pipes - so all looking brill.
