Went to the allotment yesterday evening and oh dear looks like the warm and humid weather we've had has caused an outbreak of raspberry rust on one plant (lots of little orange coloured blobs on the leaf surface).
I'll be getting rid of the infected leaves and perhaps so of the individual canes. However, I'm wonder if there are any alternative treatments (as there are no licensed ones) for example using diluted aspirin (it's used by some to control blight so might it work with rust).
