I've just placed an order for two goji berry bushes to plant on the front of my plot .has anyone else had a go a growing these and what results did you have.

I had mixed results. I say mixed because they grew quickly but not very bushy. Perhaps they should be nipped off at the tips at certain growth size to encourage side shoots. They never flowered profusely and eventually I gave up on them. Hopefully you fare better. One thing is certain if you cut off a small branch and stick it in soil it will grow very very easily. So any pruning is lots of new plants if that is what you desire. -
Lots of plant but no fruit (after 3 years)
Have heard that they like poor soil and need 3 to 4 years to fruit. Mine will be "planted" alongside the dual carriageway if they don't produce next year.

They take several years to fruit and the few fruit I tried were unpleasant. I have since banished 2 plants to a hedgerow and I have moved one so I can tie it into a fence. (Which I quite like solely as plant coverage)
