Just to add - do not over-fertilise with the relevant acid loving plant feeds.
I nearly done in my blueberries a few weeks back by doing this.
Thankfully the amount of rain we've had seems to have sorted it.
Out of curiosity- would I be allowed to take these in the removal van from England to Ireland, or would Customs possibly confiscate them ?.......because you're thinking of putting the kettle on and making a pot of tea perhaps, you old weirdo. (Veggie Chicken - 25/01/18)

On inspection of my new tiny blueberry bush earlier, I see it has TWO small green blueberries on it!!!
It must be enjoying all this rainwater we've had here over the past week ........
So, hopefully the little drink of tap water I gave it () when it first arrived on my doorstep, hasn't been detrimental .......

I head it the other day on the radio that adding vinegar to your water is good I think it was a teaspoon per watering can, this helps to keep the soil ph about right I would google it just to make sure.
I have not had much luck with blueberries in the allotment and have now switched to Saskatchewan's bushes which will grow in any soil type and taste nearly the same as blueberries.
