Cucamelonus interruptus

Hi all, I'm growing cucamelons again in a giant pot in the garden room. Again, I have healthy and abundant foliage and masses of flowers and teeny tiny fruit that just don't swell. They get to the length of a finger nail (gardener nail not talons!), stop and then just seem to give up and die. Does anyone have any idea what I could do to help them develop? Any advice gratefully appreciated - my summer g&t garnishes depend on you!

Open up the garden room doors so pollinating bugs can get in or shove the plant outside. Can't see any other reason why you are not getting fat fruits.

This thread mentions putting the plants outside & it being a pollination issue but normal for the first fruits to fall off etc;

Oh thank you! I did try searching before asking but didn't find that one - I'll try disentangling them from their support and bung them outside.. Thanks!

If you are not also doing so, feed with a tom feed.

Mine are outside due to lack of a greenhouse and also do this - they spent all last summer falling off and I thought I'd give them another go this year. If it's pollination that's the problem I'll try hand-pollinating to see if it makes a difference.
