    You could graft other varieties on to your existing vine. It is what I would consider if the existing plant grows well with little to no issues.

    If I can revive any of my cuttings you are welcome to have them to root or use for grafting. If you remind me next year I should (fingers crossed) have some pheonix cuttings if they take your fancy.

        Nothing wrong with wine grapes... all my grape vines are wine grapes, just slightly smaller with higher sugar but perfectly good for eating.
        Living off grid and growing my own food in Bulgaria.....

            You can always thin out the grapes on a bunch to allow the remaining grapes to swell up.


            Or drink the harvest

                You are meant to do it with a forked twig so you don't affect the bloom, but being a gorilla you should be ok with wooden tools
