Is this canker on my little apple tree? its sunset on m26 im growing it as a cordon, the area in question is about 2/3 up the tree

There is something suspicious going on but it's difficult to say what; the picture needs to be brighter and/or more zoomed in.. -
Is this any good, if not I can take another pic tomorrow

It's scarring of some sort - maybe a wound, maybe canker, maybe a different type of canker - but dark conditions or wet bark make it much harder.
Try another picture when the bark is dry and with plenty of brightness to help bring out the detail. Try pics from different angles..Comment

If it was my tree, I would take no action but would check elsewhere for signs of canker.
Also keep your current pictures as a reference point to monitor the canker to see whether it gets any bigger. It's quite possible that the tree won this particular battle and is just left with some scarring which will eventually become almost invisible.
Canker like your tree has is usually nursery-acquired because it tends to mostly enter through a wound where a leaf once grew and where the leaf left a bud behind which might later have sprouted into a branch.
Canker can remain dormant for several years after infection so you may have other cankers appear in the next few years..Comment
