I live in Crewe,

Soft fruit is my favourite , I love it

I have them growing over 3 allotments
My home and my mum and dads house

My little collection consists of the raspberries, blackberries and hybrid berries ,and Rubus species

130 + varieties of strawberry
60 varieties of gooseberry
70 varieties of currant
20 varieties of rhubarb
8 varieties of cherry
30 varieties of Apple
12 plums and hybrids ( aprium pluot)
4 apricot varieties
6 fig varieties
3 peach varieties

Just had another taste of a couple of the berries. The taste is more leaning towards the raspberry with very little bitterness and tastes better once the fruit is over ripe.
Still can't say I'm too enthralled but I will keep this plant and may propagate a few from it.

I suppose hybrid seeds will be inert and not grow? If not, I may try a few seedlings.

I've grown Tulameen raspberries from seed and seem to remember having to stratify them?

Still can't say I'm too enthralled but I will keep this plant and may propagate a few from it.

Can't do any harm to propogate it and you never know it may turn out to be unique. In my world where scepticism is everything it could become popular and your name will be associated with it, good luck.
