I will be guided by Monty Don's choice of Lakemont, a sweet seedless eating grape. I already have a couple of seeded vines, purple and pink which I just grew from cuttings.
The Lakemont is a grafted grape and i wondered why it was grafted?
Would this be a dwarfing rootstock or is it because its own roots are not prodigeous?
I also wonderd about growing it in a container?
Any info would be helpful.
