    Ye i heard it was very vigorous so I planted it on a M26 rootstock compared to the others which are on MM106. Hopefully all 3 will be at a nice similar height of around 2.5-3 metres in a few years.

      I have a James Grieve as the only apple tree in my garden, although there is a large tree, variety unknown, next door but one to me. I've never had any issues with pollination of my tree.
