I am going to make room for some autumn Raspberries, are Joan J as good as I have been led to believe, or should I plant a different variety.

Yes Joan J are very good - I planted 10 canes last spring and they fruited until October - really big fruit great flavour.Comment

Just a really good producer that tastes great , right up to the frosts in Nov/Dec, I would not see swap them for any other, really suits my locality...Comment

I used to grow Autumn Bliss and a couple of other autumn raspberries until I was introduced to Joan J. There's no turning back now - all the old canes have been kicked out by Joan. Huge fruit in comparison, long cropper and good flavour.Comment
