I bought 3 on an offer from T&M I think when they first came out a few years ago (or when I first became aware of them maybe?)
They were a gift to my mum and pot grown on her patio against a fence with partial shade. They never did anything
I can't comment about the care that they received because I have no idea but she's not bad! Maybe they would have preferred full sun?
It's not motivated me to buy more.

Just wouldn't bother at all with the Reuben, waste of space and time, for blackberries get a Himalaya or Bedford giant and wait a year for the fruit, Oregon and Merton thornless grow well as wellLiving off grid and growing my own food in Bulgaria.....

I purchased 'Rueben' Blackberry from Pomona Fruits last year and it was wonderful, first year had lots of massive size berries.
But due to some wild plants along our back fence line the dreaded 'redberry mite' ruined about 80% of the crop (These tiny mites drift in on the wind and attack about 30% of the druplets which then fail to ripen)
I have cut back all the 'wild' blackberries on the fence line and I'm spraying the Reuben buds as soon as they develop and I'm hoping (nae praying ) that they don't ruin the crop this year.
