I planted two miniature kiwifruit vines last year, a male and a female, varieties Ken's red and Weiki. Unfortunately one of them has died, and I stupidly didn't take note of which was which. I think it's the male that died but I'm not completely sure. So I don't know if the one that's left is a male or a female. Any ideas on how to tell?
I was also wondering, assuming it's the female vine that survived, if I replaced the dead one with the variety Issai, which is apparently self-fertile, would that be capable of pollinating a female plant?
