I've got 3 Tayberries on plot 2 and a Loganberry next to them so I can report which taste better later when they are ready. Also got 4 Xenia red goosegogs next to a free green one given to me by my neighbour.

Got 3 x Redcurrants from Poundland to go in and waiting for a Whitecurrent and a Pinkcurrent to be delivered for plot 2 from Thompson & Morgan.

Oooh, ooh - Olives are a berry aren't they? Or are they Drupes?
      Pomegranates?

I might give Huckleberries a try this year - they're an annual in the tomato family.

My favourite red dessert gooseberry is Whinham's industry. The best dessert gooseberry I've ever tried is Langley Gage, which is a kind of transparent gray when ripe and very juicy and sweet. The only problem is the birds like it as much as I do.

I've just planted a Xenia this winter, so I'll hopefullyfind out soon if it's as sweet as they say.
