Help identifying

Hi All

Took on a new allotment today and there's lots of fruit about. I'm no expert on these and more into veg so would love your help identifying them!

Whatever these are look dead, what are they and how can I revive them or are they just growing fine?


Assume these are just pears and anything I should do to encourage growth?


Cherries, I presume. Anything I should do?


No idea what these are?

1. Could be a "furry" fruit. Some raspberries look a bit like that
2. pear
3. cherry
4 Can't make out the detail.
5. ? blackcurrant. Gooseberries have thorns.

You're very lucky to inherit all that fruit. Looks good quality too.

I think you really wanted to show off

I think 5 could be a red currant - try rubbing the leaves. If they smell of blackcurrant cordial then they're not red currants.

Netting them from the birds otherwise you could loose the currants, cherries, raspberries.

Keep them watered.

I was thinking that. I have 3 or so hazelnut/cobnut trees that have self-seeded in my garden, and they look similar.

My raspberries look exactly like your pic in no 1 - hold on to them there's loads of fruit there
