I have a Lakemont desert grape vine which I planted late June last year. I winter pruned in accordance with a vine growing against a wall. I see that there are three side shoots each with a bunch of fruit. I have read many guides on the internet about what to do in the first year and second year etcetera but because of the diversity of the various guides I have become confused with what to do.
Can I leave the three bunches or should I reduce them done to one as I have read? I have also read that the side shoot containing the bunch should be pinched out. How many leaves should be left on the shoot past the bunch before stopping further growth?
