I have a Galia F1 melon growing in my small greenhouse. Compared to the Cucumber and Tomato plants which were planted at the same time the melon is well behind in growth. I would say it is less than a third in height (18 inches) compared to the other plants. Also I see that although it has produced three flowers they are all male. Am I doing anything wrong? Do melons grow slower that the other plants? The plant receives regular watering and misting and does not dry out so I don't think that is the problem. Do I need to boost the plant with some tomato feed? If anybody could offer any suggestions for the melons’ care I would be very grateful.
The melon was planted on the 4th of May in a growbag.
