Raspberries leaves

Hi there.

Newly planted raspberries this year.

2 kinds autumn bliss and polka.

Seem to be growing good but the leaves are being eaten.

If looked under the leaves and there are little green flies

Is this going to cause issues and how do I prevent it.

Hi Mike

I have the same on first year canes, badly on some and nothing on others. As trying to be organic as possible, but time limited, have only sprayed the underside of leaves on badly hit plants

I seem tohave raspberry sawfly caterpillars on mine.

The little devils let go and drop off as soon as the leaf is disturbed, so it's hard to spot them.
