  • Feeding a Container Grown Blueberry

I have a recent container planted Blueberry – Bluecrop which is growing very well. Can anyone tell me how often I should feed the plant? I have a liquid ericaceous feed that I will be using.

    Thanks.

    Best regards,
    Greg

      Feeding a Container Grown Blueberry

Sorry for being repetitive. It seems that I did. Forgive me, my memory is not as good as it was. Some older folk can be so annoying can’t they!

      Best regards,

Haha senior moment! I just remember because I was reading that thread the other day...

I've given my blueberry bushes in pots two feeds so far this year with a shop bought liquid feed - once in early Spring and again the other day as they are covered in berries now.

Vixylix - I have a liquid ericaceous food made by Westlands from the Gro-Sure range. I have used it a couple of times and my new Blueberry is growing away rapidly. What I don't want to do is over feed the plant so it gets too lanky so although the feed container says every two weeks what I want know is 'every two weeks' going too much?

              Best regards,
              Greg
