Strawberry damage, birds? Slugs?

Just a quickie, damage to my strawberries and I can't decide what's causing it. Suggestions?

Hi Leezy, looks like slug damage to me although someone else may say otherwise.

Could be either or both - try covering some fruit up and if the damage continues then its slugs :-).

I have mice eating mine in my poly-tunnel - bloody nuisance.

I get the same damage and my strawberries are under debris netting so I'd go with slugs.
