Cape gooseberry. Physalis. -- Need help please.

I have half a dozen individual cape gooseberry- physalis in 5 litre pots but they appear pot bound as roots showing through base of the pots. As they are now in flower should I leave them or repot? I suspect repotting may halt their production but not sure.
Anyone out there any ideas. They are in a greenhouse.

Try putting trays with a sterile substrate in them such as sand under the pots and liquid feeding in to that ? This will extend the plants root run without stressing them - I've not grown edible physalis, so I don't know how much feed/water they generally need.
