Elderberries

Do any of the forum member in or near Southampton know where ther are elderberries growing. There are a tiny number South of the city where I live.

I am looking for around 15 lb. The last place I lived in Suffolk the whole garden was ringed with elder trees. By the way how is the vine growing?

I tend to look out for them in the spring when they are in flower...also sloes....OH has several positions marked on his tom tom so we can find them again!
Maybe something for next year????

The vines are galloping away, with one at 7 foot at the moment and they look really healthy.

I must be weird - I have elders and sloes both growing in my garden (probably not ideal).

Problem is that I took flowers from the few elders growing around here for elderflower wine. I suppose you can't have your cake and eat it!
