  • Pink candy pluot

    Hi guys .
My name is Jose and I write from Spain.
Like you, I am a big fan of fruit trees, especially the pluots (I have a large collection of varieties), my friends in the United States send me cuttings in winter to graft their varieties of pluots and others fruits .
I am very interested in the variety of pluot Pink Candy, but the English nurseries (Pomona and Suttons), do not send fruit trees to Spain.

So if any of you have this variety, we can do a exchange of cuttings this winter.

I have all the pluots collection "for home gardens" of the American nursery Dave Wilson and also some of its professional varieties.
I have many varieties of all kinds of fruit (peaches, apples, pears, cherries, etc ...), all of the highest quality.

    A very warm greeting
    Jose

      Pink Candy Pluot

      Hi, Scarlet.
Thank you very much for the information .
In general terms it is the "logical " system that is used in all forums of exchange of cuttings.
In my particular case I am interested in a tree of the variety of pluot Pink Candy , and I sent emails to the nurseries Suttons and Pomona to request the purchase of the Pink Candy pluot variety, and both nurseries replied that they do not send Plants to Spain (in the case of Suttons nurseries), or they need a minimum order of £ 200 excluding shipping costs to send this variety to Spain in the case of Pomona nursery (it is a lot of money) and I just need a tree of this variety.

Obviously, I am new to this forum, and if I make an exchange with any of the members, the rules are very clear:

1º- As I am the junior member in the forum, I would first send my package of cuttings, to the oldest member.

2º- Until the oldest member has not received the package with my cuttings is not committed to anything

3º- Once the oldest member has received the package with my stakes in his house, then he should send his package to my address

I consider that it is the most fair and courteous way, to make an exchange between serious people

There is another very good option, which also I offer in case any of the members of this forum are interested.

If any of the members of this forum are interested in this variety, I can send the money to a member of this forum (through Western Union or Money Gram ) to buy the tree in the nursery Suttons (not because the tree is more Cheap in this nursery, is because the trees of this nursery have two years of graft and are well branched).
The forum member stays with the tree for his orchard, and he sends me the cuttings for his grafting
This is another very good option.

Scarlet, in short I am new to this forum, but I have experience in fruit trees and intercabio of cuttings for more than 15 years.

I participate actively in many foreign forums for a long time (just a small example):

La greffe du pistachier en conditions de température contrôlée

I am an honest person, and I know that this forum will be very happy with my participation.

      Best regards
      Jose

P.S. ( Sorry for my English, but I need to use the Goggle translator and sometimes it does not translate very well )

Hi Jose, I believe you are an honest person but every forum has its own rules.
The rules of swapping on this forum were voted on by its members. One of the rules is that you have to be an active member for 3months before requesting swaps.

I know that there are several members who may be interested in swapping with you so please tell us a little bit more about yourself here :http://www.growfruitandveg.co.uk/gra...duce-yourself/

We would love to know a bit more about what fruit trees you are growing and maybe we can do some swaps later in the year.

        Your English is very good!
