Plums, – Will be budded onto a “St Julian A” root stock or a “Myrobolane” root stock these are virus free and semi vigorous growing.

Thanks for the link. A bit of googling shows that Pixy costs half as much again as St J A, so it's a fair guess a £5 tree is on the latter.
