Due to change around of allotment layout my strawberry bed needs moving. I have built a raised bed which is filled with a mixture of bagged compost but mostly cow manure. It is pretty well rotted, some lumps but easy to crumble with a trowel and no smell to it at all. Would my strawberry plants be ok transplanted into this ? I’m hoping to move them at the weekend so they can settle before the weather turns and I might not be able to dig them out of solid ground! Thanks for any advice.
