    there are many islands, but only one Island (the Isle of Man).
    Where I come from 'the Island' is the Isle of Sheppey

    Would you please put a location in your profile, it helps if we have some idea of where you are gardening.

    All the on-line sellers are listing them now and there are quite a few 'black friday' deals on, so worth having a good look around.

      I always prey we have decent weather those weeks when so many have made the effort to come
      From my limited experience, 12 months, I would say yes buy them now but when to plant is soil dependant. If you have good draining soil then plant away now, possibly on a ridge to make sure any rain doesnt pole around them and cause root rot or raised beds would be even better. However if on clay/high rainfall like me, then the 6 I have just orderd are being planted in b&q buckets where they can root away and will plant out in march
