looking OK - quite a bit of shade from the ornamental cherry though.

I suppose if you replaced the shed roof with poly-carbonate sheets you could train the vine in there :-)

Blossom update - just noticed today that my carmine jewel sour bush cherry has flower buds on it. First time - I put it in 2 years ago as a 9cm potted twig I'd got online. I'm hoping it tastes and crops as well as the documentation says it should (and that it really is a carmine jewel - they seem very hard to come by in Europe).

Medlar

This is the first time I've ever seen a medlar flower - and the best thing is, its on the "free" medlar I was sent last year after our orders were "lost". Hope the other medlars we received are also looking good.
