Mulching autumn raspberries

I've started the mulching.

I have new shoots showing so I hope they young shoots don't mind being flattened. I planted the canes in a straight line but over time they are spreading so it is difficult to mulch without covering them.

No problem - it'll be an interim sort of update as the rasps in question are some Autumn ones a friend was getting rid of from his patch - so I don't have any background on them to compare how they do now with.
