    Poundland Plants

I frequently shop at poundland, and if the shrubs and roses are showing signs of life I often can't resist a new addition to my garden or allotment. I see it as I'm kind of saving the plant from the shelves!

About 5 years ago I bought 2 roses (1 red and one white) from there, and they're honestly the best roses I've ever bought! So vigorous, they keen astonishing us year on year. And, the quantity of fragrant roses produced... magnificent! My neighbour has commented a few times how he envies them.
Last year I got a blackcurrent plant and it has shot up this year - hoping the slugs don't demolish the new growth this time! And, maybe a few fruits??
Also, 2 roses for the lottie, we'll see if they're comparable to the previous ones.
Good luck with all your Poundland plants!

Really? Oh, I must try them out now Although, I'm guessing you probably took good care of them as well, to get them growing so well.

You know, I started hating slugs and snails last year. I used to like them, but then I tried growing stuff. In the end, I just bought a jar of snail/slug pellets. Then I felt very bad when I saw all of the dead things in my pots. :|
