  • Quince depressed

Hi, I have a quince tree, a Vranja which this year for the first time has lots of flowers. However the leaves appear to be hanging, as if the tree does not have enough water. Which is a bit strange as this is Wales. What could be the cause of its sad look? Any ideas anyone?

Whereabouts is it ? eg against a fence/wall, open ground, shaded etc

      Croeso Eveline.
This is my Quince, planted last year so its the first time I've seen flowers. The leaves are droopy but I thought that was the way they were.Does yours look like this?

Quince leaves are naturally droppy. Nothing to concern.

Here is my vranja after 15 hours of rain yesterday.

As already said the leaves naturally hang, i too was worried about this but after looking up quince tree pictures on Google i realised it waa normal.

If it looks like the picture below then it's not normal but rather dry
