  • Blueberry Cross-Pollination Varieties?

Although my Blueberry Bluecrop has fruited quit well in its first year I understand that the crop would be greatly increased if I had other varieties of blueberry for cross-pollination. Please could someone give me some advice on what other varieties of blueberry are good cross-pollinators with Bluecrop and how many plants would be suitable.

    Best regards,
    Greg

It seems anything goes as they're not as critical as say apples or plums. Have a look athttps://www.rhs.org.uk/advice/profile?PID=85.

My three came as a package eight years ago -- Patriot, Legacy, and Chandler.

Homegrown ones easily beat the ones my wife buys.

Bluecrop is a Highbush Blueberry so it will have to be a highbush variety. Good news is that most blueberries are high bush - but not all at Buddy Blue and Pink Champagne are rabbiteye (and cross polinate each other)
