  • Pear Tree Troubles

My pear tree (comice) has developed brown leaves, quite extensively, on its branches. I'm worried that it might be fire blight but how can I be sure? If it is, what can I do to preserve the tree. (It's only a small tree.)

I'd post pictures but I'm not allowed to do this yet. (Too new.)

    Thank you.

I had some half brown leaves on all my pear tree leaves in its first year & worried but it didn’t happen the next year or this year & I didn’t do anything treatment wise. Did you plant it this year?

More likely to have been caused by the drought - if you have some liquid seaweed feed - try spraying it on as a foliar feed, diluted to the strength specified on the bottle.

        Thank you.

I'll try it ... fingers crossed.
