Not strictly speaking pics. of my crops but I thought I would post a few photos of my garden as it appears to have turned into a jungle whilst I have been on holiday. There used to be a path down the middle & my veg patch was covered with netting which everything has burst through, my potatoes have shot up to chest height & started to flower & the plants I left in my mini greenhouse didn't die off but grew massive & all now need planting out. Everything has flowered including my honeysuckle for the first time & my strawberries only had flowers on when I left but now I've just had the fruits with my cereals today! P.S. I know I shouldn't have planted the rhubarb in the veg. patch as it will overshadow everything but I had nowhere else & plan to split the crown & replant some of it elsewhere in a year or so.

Hello SueA, Thanks for the pics. I just love that kind of jungle. Think It looks great. I grow my own garden in a similar style and let everyhing grow through each other. Except for veg. I go for the appliance of science there and am quite methodical. But if I could only grow one garden it would be a jungle. Mind, the size mine is I really don't have a choice. I couldn't manage any other way - and I wouldn't want to

It's not looking quite so good today as we've had really high winds for the last 2 days & the flowers have blown off the roses & the arch holding up the grapevine has snapped & is now instead being held up by the grapevine! Still I braved the gales & ran out & grabbed some more strawberries for my breakfast this morning.Into every life a little rain must fall.

I tend to go out each morning & collect them for my breakfast for the same reasons Leona. I did manage to get a nice bowlful the other day though to go with some cream- offered my O.H. some but he says he's dieting!Into every life a little rain must fall.

Alice's Jungle
You can see some pics of my jungle at this link (I hope) I don't really know what I'm doing with this blog but if it works I'll tidy it up.
wwwaliceinwonderland-alice.blogspot.com Looks a bit crude but seems to be basically working so I'll work on it.
