Definitely mmmmmmmm... I parboiled then finished off in the oven, went great with my home-grown broccoli and free range chicken drumsticks (not home grown!)pjh75

jealous taste buds this end, so far thsi year the slugs/mice munch them before i do, last year i would say that the flavour of the turnips was the thing that surprised me the most, even managed to get my 1 year old and 3 year old to eat them as if they were treats

They look great PJH. Still looking forward to mine.
If your looking for new ways to cook them
Parboil, slice, dip in flour then beaten egg then grated parmesan and fry.
Or cook, slice and pour white wine sauce over. Goes great with any poultry.
Enjoy whichever way.
From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.
